If you haven’t checked out his site recently, it appears that Hertzfeldt is going a little Edward Gorey in his, um, well, age. I love Edward Gorey.
So Adrienne writes me this e-mail, a great e-mail, the finest of e-mails, an e-mail I cannot electronically reproduce in any form ever on pain of exquisite death. This puts me in mind of our upcoming trip to NYC which I’m generally very excited about. And I just finished reading “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time” the main character of which is, among other things, a high-functioning autist so I’m now by my reader’s empathy a high-functioning autist as well.
After which I glance at the AdSense to see what Gmail thought of the e-mail:
