I’m actually pretty sure that this dream relates to the current state of my relationship with Terra. Taken in that light:

I think the big, new house that is out of repair is the relationship in its new, unfamiliar, dilapidated state. New, unfamiliar motivations and impulses (the people) live in this house but can’t fix it either.

Seeing outside from the room, the covered up windows, all that could be the hidden truths that I’m hiding from, the clear perspective that I’m denying myself.

Pulling out the teeth seems to be an attempt to remove something that is pretty firmly attached to my body. Terra’s trying to catch the teeth; that might just be a sign of her involvement, or her attempt to help remove these things that are attached? I always have losing teeth dreams when I’m really stressed out… during the ol’ startup days they were a twice weekly occurrence.

Had this dream the very morning after Terra and I had a pretty bleak conversation about the realities of our relationship.

When you lost your teeth the first time, you were a little kid. At that time you had become comfortable with the baby teeth. They were sturdy, did their job and you learned to accept them as part of the image of yourself you present to others.

Then they fell out.

This transition occurs around the same time that we become more self-aware individuals, which may have some significance.

It sounds like you’ve moved recently- maybe that’s another shedding-transition that’s troubling you? The house’s disrepair seems to foreshadow the loss of teeth.

We also associate teeth with self-image, bad teeth=unattractive. Losing teeth makes you vulnerable from a basic survival standpoint. The fact that Tara is catching them (and you don’t want her to) perhaps suggests you’ve been embarassed in front of her recently or have strong feelings of vulnerability in relation to her.

I don’t mean to psychoanalyze but this is a pretty interesting dream.

I often dream of losing teeth, or strange things growing out of the pores on my face, like white plastic tabs the size of chicklets start poking out but then fall off.

Dreams are weird.

Please make it more obvious that you’re describing a dream in the future! You had me kind of freaked out for a little while.
