Penny, Unshelved, Wizard
I’m a big fan of Penny Arcade... by turns subtly brilliant and mind-wrenchingly disgusting (the description on today’s post about testicles shivering in fear and committing hairi-kairi through an interesting use of the Vas Deferens is something to behold both in grammatical construction and sheer gross imagery). Today, they pointed me at a webcomic called Unshelved which is to librarians what Penny Arcade is to gaming geeks: damn funny comic about my world.
But what has endeared me forever to Unshelved is this comic about Ursula K. LeGuin’s A Wizard of Earthsea. This comic rocks hard.
Incidentally: read the Earthsea books and completely ignore the stinking pile of shit that was the SciFi movie.
