Virtual Thought

So I’m digging around on Ready.gov because I enjoy being angry and irritated at my government… apparently, the Department of Homeland Security is worried that terorrists will make use of natural disasters.

I understand that on a website about safety in one’s home one would include info about volcanoes, tsunamis, fires… but the War on Terror isn’t going to cure me of volcanoes anytime soon, right? Because, if the War on Drugs is any indication, we’re gonna have terrorists for a good long while.

I know John Stewart said it before but it bears repeating: if you are near a nuclear blast try and get out of the area.
